Complete Network Infrastructure

One practical solution from the data point to the Wi-Fi signal

A reliable network depends on more than the modem. We check the property, cable routes, connected devices, coverage problems, internet speed and future plans before choosing the cabling, switches, Wi-Fi equipment and cabinet layout.

Power & Data

Network & PoE Switching

We size each switch around the number of devices, the PoE power budget, uplink speed, management features and where the switch will be installed.

  • Ethernet and PoE switches
  • Managed and unmanaged options
  • Industrial and standard models
  • VLAN setup where required
  • PoE budget and port planning
  • Upgrades and network expansion
Coverage That Works

Wi-Fi Access Points

A wired access point delivers fast, stable Wi-Fi in rooms where a downstairs modem cannot reach, without the slowdowns of a wireless repeater.

  • Double-storey home Wi-Fi fixes
  • Ceiling and wall-mounted access points
  • Wired backhaul for full speed
  • Seamless roaming between rooms
  • Business and guest Wi-Fi
  • PoE powered, no extra power points
Security & Remote Links

CCTV Network Infrastructure

Cameras, recorders and remote buildings need reliable data paths and correctly planned PoE. We build the supporting network, not only the cameras.

  • PoE switching for IP cameras
  • Wireless links to detached buildings
  • Industrial switches for tough sites
  • Cabinets for recorders and network gear
  • PoE extension past 100 metres
  • Network fault finding and upgrades
Networking Solutions

Practical solutions for a faster, more dependable network

Each installation is designed around the building, cable distances, number of devices, PoE needs and the Wi-Fi coverage you want.

PoE splitter and one-input two-output and four-output PoE extenders for expanding network and CCTV connections in Sydney
EXTEND
Reach Further

PoE Splitters & Extenders

A PoE splitter separates power and data from one PoE cable for devices that don't support PoE. A PoE extender increases cable reach beyond 100 metres or adds extra outputs at a remote point, which is useful when adding cameras, access points and other network devices.

  • PoE splitter options for compatible devices
  • One-input/two-output PoE extenders
  • One-input/four-output solutions where suitable

BRIDGE
No Trenching

Point-to-Point Wireless Bridges

A point-to-point wireless bridge carries a network connection between buildings, gates or remote camera locations where trenching or a direct cable is impractical. The right equipment depends on distance, bandwidth and a clear line of sight.

  • Options for approximately 0.5 km, 1 km and 5 km links
  • Long-range designs up to 20–25 km where conditions permit
  • Ideal for CCTV, sheds, farms and detached buildings

RACK
Neat & Secure

Data Cabinets & Server Racks

The right cabinet keeps switches, patch panels, recorders, routers and power equipment secure, ventilated and easy to service. We size it around your current equipment and leave practical space for cabling and future expansion.

  • Vertical CCTV and compact wall-mount cabinets
  • 4RU, 6RU, 12RU and 18RU options
  • 22RU and larger racks for server or communications rooms

PoE
Power & Data

Network & PoE Switches

Ethernet and PoE switches connect your devices and can send both data and power to compatible equipment over one cable. We help you choose the right port count, PoE budget, uplink speed and management level for the job.

  • Managed and unmanaged switch options
  • Standard and industrial PoE models
  • Suitable for networks, CCTV and access control

Whole-Property Coverage

Wi-Fi Access Points

When the modem is downstairs and upstairs Wi-Fi is weak, a well-placed wired access point gives strong, consistent Wi-Fi without relying on a weak repeated signal. We also design multi-area coverage for offices, shops and commercial sites.

  • Wired backhaul for speed and reliability
  • PoE-powered access point options
  • Coverage planning for homes and businesses

DATA
Cat6 Cabling

Data Points & Structured Cabling

A well-planned wired network is a stable foundation for computers, smart TVs, access points, CCTV, intercoms and other connected devices. We install, terminate, test and label every data point using pure copper Cat6 cable.

  • Residential and commercial cable runs
  • Wall outlets, patch panels and rack termination
  • Testing and clear cable identification

Networking & Wi-Fi FAQs

Common networking and Wi-Fi questions

How much does data cabling or Wi-Fi installation cost in Sydney?

The price depends on the number of data points, cable distances, ceiling and wall access, the number of Wi-Fi access points and the switch or cabinet you need. A few data points in a single-storey home costs far less than a full office network. Request a free quote and we'll give you pricing tailored to your property.

How do I fix weak Wi-Fi upstairs in a double-storey house?

The most reliable fix is a wired Wi-Fi access point upstairs, connected back to your modem or switch with a Cat6 cable. Unlike a wireless repeater, a wired access point doesn't halve your speed, so you get strong, stable Wi-Fi in every room. Several access points can work together as one network so your devices move between them without dropping out.

What is the difference between a wired access point and a Wi-Fi extender?

A Wi-Fi extender repeats a weak wireless signal, which usually reduces speed and adds delay. A wired access point gets its connection through a data cable, so it delivers full speed wherever it's installed. For homes and businesses that want dependable coverage, wired access points are the better long-term option.

Why do you use pure copper Cat6 cable?

Pure copper Cat6 carries data and PoE power reliably over the full 100 metre Ethernet distance. Cheaper copper-clad aluminium (CCA) cable can overheat with PoE, lose speed and fail early. We use pure copper Cat6 on every job so your network and security devices stay reliable for years.

Do I need a registered cabler to install data points?

Yes. In Australia, data and network cabling connected to the telecommunications network must be installed by a cabler registered with the ACMA. Our technicians hold ACMA Open Registration, so your cabling is compliant and done properly.

How far can a point-to-point wireless bridge reach?

Common wireless bridges cover about 0.5 km, 1 km or 5 km, and long-range designs can reach 20 to 25 km where there is a clear line of sight and suitable conditions. They're ideal for connecting sheds, gates, farm buildings and remote CCTV cameras without trenching a cable.

Which networking brands do you install?

For most homes and small to medium businesses we install Ruijie and Reyee networking equipment, including Wi-Fi access points, PoE switches and wireless bridges with cloud app monitoring. We can also work with suitable existing equipment and will recommend the best option for your site.

Can you fix or upgrade my existing network?

Yes. We find and fix faulty data points, replace failing switches, add access points, tidy messy cabinets and expand existing networks. For faults, visit our maintenance and repairs page or book a service.
